About Our Business
			In June of 2005, BeBop and Company participated in a small local art festival. Business was brisk and we had a great time so we decided to continue on and see just how far a business could go centered around the dye....tie dye that is. Coloring the world one shirt at a time is our message and mantra. It has been proven that colors enhance one's mood and general emotional outlook. So, one shirt at a time, we want to spread the happiness of beautiful colors. (Yeah, i thought it was corny too, but it's true - no one can be bummed in a tie dye shirt. Try it some time, I dare you!) This all started in the kitchen with a kit. It was supposed to be a fun stress reliever after just getting laid off, but it took on a life of its own. 					About Our Tie Dyeing
				I tend to avoid total dye saturation and allow the properties of the dyes blend or separate as they want. This creates some unique markings on the items. For instance, a purple shirt may separate to a purple and blue shirt as the blue is one of the elements of the purple. Greens can separate with yellows or with blues showing. It depends on the weight of the dyes....and then we move into the chemistry lesson - which I was never good at! This method also allows for the lights and darks of the dyes to play upon the shirt. By using this method of coverage, it allows each item to take on a life unto itself. Each item is a one of kind work of art...the wearer enhances the art by becoming part of the art. Wow!  If you wear one dancing you can be a performance artist.
					Our location
				Currently we are located in the beautiful Silicon Valley area of California. As the days turn into months and the business flourishes, the goal is to have a shop front, but right now it's baby steps with dreams.
